  • Permissions: By connecting your GitHub account, you grant BuyMyRepo permission to access certain information from your GitHub profile, such as your repositories, in accordance with GitHub’s API and OAuth protocols.
  • Privacy: We do not access, view, or store your code. Our service is designed to facilitate transactions and manage repository invitations without direct interaction with the repository contents.

3.2 User Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information in your GitHub profile. Any discrepancies may result in the termination of your access to our Service.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your GitHub account and password. BuyMyRepo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login credentials.

4. Intellectual Property

BuyMyRepo uses Stripe Connect to handle payments, offering maximum security and ensuring that payment credentials are not shared with us. Stripe Connect facilitates transactions by creating a secure environment for payment processing. Key features include:

  • Secure Data Handling: Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant, adhering to the highest standards of data security.
  • Tokenization: Stripe uses tokenization to protect sensitive payment information, replacing it with a unique token that can process payments without exposing actual payment details.
  • Direct Payouts: Payments are processed through Stripe and funds are directly transferred to your Stripe account upon successful payment.

7. Refund Policy

We do not provide refunds once the repository access has been granted. All sales are final. Please ensure that you review all repository information before making a purchase.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BuyMyRepo, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
